COURSES
AND TEACHING AT THE BSM
The
Bangalore School of Music offers courses with Syllabus affiliated
from the 'Associated Board of the Royal School of Music (UK)'
and the 'Trinity College of London', in both Practical
and Theory.

The
syllabus adhered to the standards of both the above mentioned, begin
with eight grades to complete. After which the following Certificate
examinations are offered.

- Fellow of The Royal Schools of Music

The
teaching sessions are normally held once a week in the evenings,
excepting the choir section that meets twice a week.
The affiliate exams are conducted in October, for Practicals
and in November and March for the Theory part.
METHODOLOGY
OF TEACHING AT THE BSM
The
teaching methodology at The Bangalore School of Music is
completely focussed a one to one recognition of talent and
training pace. This further on results in better understanding and
teaching.
The ambience of the tree filled surrounding
is an atmosphere that deeply touches the heart of the music lover,
and in turn, greatly effects the learning and fine tuning aspects.
Development on Individual pace without any relativity to
the other students of the same batch is of fine focus. The training
and improvement of the students is individually set on the aptitude
and calibre of each individual student.
The Bangalore School of Music offers excellent
mentors with years of training expertise, to shortlist personal
defects in every student and to create the best available scope
for maximum development and learning.
THE
BANGALORE GUITAR SOCIETY
The
Bangalore Guitar Society, formed in the year 2000, by members
and supporters of the BSM and Guitar Enthusiasts from Bangalore
is primarily supported by Mr. Samuel Joseph, whose brother,
Mr. Babu Joseph plays with the Barcelonia Blues in
the USA. The other members of the Guitar society are primarily form
The Bangalore School of Music. All the exponents and contributors
meets on the 2nd and 4th Sunday to discuss and participate
in various workshops, under Mr. Saumitra Mukherji.
